Our History
Birmans came into our lives in 1994, a seal point female - Klassyklogs Athene (Munchkin or MC to her family). She was closely followed by a red point male, Klassyklogs Redadare, infact he was collected the very next day. MC was our first breeding queen of this fantastic breed, who over the years gave us fabulous kittens.
In 1998, MC gave birth to 3 seal point boys and after much persuasion from our breeder (mentor and dear friend), it was decided to keep one at start our show career. Pr Brofield Cavalier Aramis was out first to be seen on the show bench but he did also gain 2 Grand Certificates before he decided that he didn't really like showing.
Over the years, our original birmans and Aramis sadly departed from our lives and are deeply missed.
In time a new girl came into our lives and we were the proud owners of Willow (Atakad Secret Affair) and in 2009 became Birman slaves once more. Willow gave birth to 4 kittens in 2010 and the only female (Babooshka) was to join our family. When the breeder of our first birmans sadly passed away, we were entrusted with one of her breeding queens, Klassyklogs Krystallite (Krissy). Krissy has also continued with her showing career and has often been seen on the show bench. Krissy gave us our first and only stud, Ch Brofield Redadair (Freddie), he is a big softie and loves lots of cuddles. Krissy is now retired and enjoying her life as a neuter who may put in an appearance to a show or two in the future. Willow gave us Gaby and Xena in 2014 who have joined the girls who all share their family home with our 2 ragdoll neuters, Darcy and Barney while Freddie lives in his stud house with Harry the miniature Shetland pony not too far away.
